Summer youth sports camps coming to a close in county

There are still a few youth summer sports camps left in Kershaw County.
Youth Soccer Camp: Players, ages six through 14, will be grouped by age, size, and ability. Daily training sessions will include individual ball handling skills, partner skills, developmental games and much more. Players must wear shin guards and bring a water bottle and soccer ball.
Dates: July 28 - Aug. 1
Location: Kershaw West Complex, Highway 1 in Lugoff
Ages: 6-14
Hours: 9 a.m. - Noon
Cost: $65 (includes T-shirt)
Pre-registration: Call the Kershaw County Recreation Department at 425-6009.   
L-E wrestling camp: The camp will be held inside the mini-gym at Lugoff-Elgin High School will take place from Tuesday, July 29 through Thursday, July 31.
The camps are run by L-E HS head wrestling coach Peter Hemingway and L-E Middle School coach Ted Monroe.
The camp is open to elementary, middle and high school wrestlers of all skill levels. The cost is $50.
Campers may register at mini-gym from 15 to 30 minutes before the start of the camp and should bring workout clothes and wrestling or tennis shoes.
