Mommy-Wise is in it’s fourth season  and second year of business.  The creative business, founded by Amy Sandt and Ashley Smith (right), is a children’s consignment shop for mothers to make money by selling gently used items, as well as find good deals on what their children may need. The sales are held twice annually. This past sale was held at 1012 Broad St., Camden and ran from Sept. 13 to 18.

“It really is a win-win situation for everyone involved,” Smith said. “The sale has grown so rapidly.  Amy Sandt and I started the sale in February of 2009 with 30 of our friends as consignors and now we have around 150 consignors and 75 volunteers.”

Smith said she and Sandt have been  overwhelmed by the response from the community and all those involved.  Shoppers told the two ladies that they anticipated the sale for months.

“Camden has been a wonderful place for our business because it is such a close community,” Smith said.
