Lugoff-Elgin High School Principal Worth Thomasson braces himself for a splash of icy cold water as L-EHS football players and cheerleaders look on. Thomasson agreed to be “dunked” if L-EHS students raised $5000 by Thursday morning to donate to the United Way of Kershaw County. Students ended up raising $5300. “We wanted something that would get the kids involved in with a team aspect ... It kind of goes along with the United Way spirit, you can give a dollar, and that dollar goes a long way,” Thomasson said. See more pictures in our Localife section.
