The music video features children who are being treated at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Two generations of pop-rock music collide in the new music video mash-up “Truly Brave,” as Sara Bareilles and Cyndi Lauper combine two of their biggest hits to raise money for pediatric cancer research. Hoda Kotb, a cancer survivor and anchor for NBC’s TODAY, brought Bareilles and Lauper together with the vision of creating an anthem for children with cancer.

“There was something about music,” Kotb said in a behind the video feature clip referring to her own fight against cancer. “You put on a song and your mood changed instantly. It brought me out of some of the darkest holes.”

The video has already garnered more than 25,000 views in less than 24 hours.
