Obama’s right, too

Bush II was right and so is President Obama.

Do you recall when President Bush went after al-Qaeda, even if he had to do it alone? They called him the cowboy who wanted to turn the Middle East into an American colony. The outside world accused President Bush of being too aggressive and attempting to police the world. They wanted America out of their land and to mind our own business.

Well, President Obama did exactly that. When Iraq refused to allow American soldiers to remain under American jurisdiction, a rule that applies anywhere American soldiers are stationed, he took our soldiers and left. He then stepped back and let the Middle East control its own destiny. He refused to fight their battles and make decisions for them.

And now because they could not cut the mustard, the world wants President Obama to lead them and help everybody make up their minds. They say the president is weak, indecisive, slow to act and has no strategy to help the world.

To all those who want to live like Americans without being Americans, I say you reap what you sow. The Middle East has already cost American lives, equipment, weapons, money and trouble. When American first offered her help, you did not want it. Yes, Mr. President, you’re right. Let the other countries control their borders and we’ll worry about ours.
