The Blaney-Elgin Museum & Historical Society are selling Christmas wreaths through Wreaths Across America for the Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The placing of wreaths on veteran’s graves are a great tribute to the men and women who have given so much for the freedom enjoyed each day. This year, the Fort Jackson Cemetery needs 3,500 wreaths to cover each veteran’s graves. The Wreath Laying Cemetery will be held at the cemetery on December 13, 2014, at 12 Noon.

This fundraiser not only demonstrates love, respect and admiration for veterans, but will also benefit the Blaney-Elgin Museum Committee in establishing a museum in the town of Elgin.

Wreaths cost $15. For every wreath ordered, the Blaney-Elgin Museum will receive $5.

The fundraisers will be held at the following locations in Elgin during October and November:

Ronnie’s Ribs & Patriots

Deja Vu Thrift Shop

Elgin IGA

Outpost BP Station

CJ’s Steakhouse

Chevala’s Mexican

Deja Vu Thrift Shop

Please come out and support this worthwhile cause. Wreaths may also ordered by calling 803-438-1068
