Miss Myers, Mr. Coggins plan spring wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Calvin Myers Jr. of Alpharetta, Georgia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Meredith Royall Myers of Richmond, Virginia to Mr. Parkes Browning Coggins, also of Richmond.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Parkes Coggins of Newberry, South Carolina.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Richard Calvin Myers of Columbia, South Carolina and the late Mr. Myers and Mrs. Walter Harrison Roll Jr. of Camden, South Carolina and the late Mr. Roll. Miss Myers is a 2002 graduate of Milton High School in Alpharetta and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Clemson University in 2006. She is employed by Virginia South Psychiatric and Family Services in Hopewell, Virginia.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. James Francis Coggins of Newberry, South Carolina and the late Mr. Coggins and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Carroll Bedenbaugh of Newberry, South Carolina. Mr. Coggins is a 2001 graduate of Newberry High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Newberry College in 2005 and a Masters of Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007.  He is an assistant Chief Executive Officer at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia.

The wedding is planned for May 14, 2011 at Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
