Eagle Scout celebration

Zack Maxwell Watson (back row, fifth from left), son of Beth Ford of Camden and Duncan Watson of Houston, Texas, earned his Eagle Scout rank on Dec. 20, 2014, at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church (LSUMC). Zack is currently a freshman at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He is a member of Troop 303 at LSUMC, part of the Indian Waters Council of South Carolina. Zack completed his Eagle project by building and installing bat boxes and signage at Historic Camden Revolutionary War Park in an effort to help bat conservation in the area. Celebrating his new rank with him are (front row, from left) Art Graham, Shawn Putnam, Ben Cummings, Hampton West, Blake Wagers, Roy Cummings, Bill Wagers, Walter Smith, (back row, from left) Greg Simonson, Jim Bradshaw, Derik Lawson, Ben Watson, Will Blankenship, Ben Blankenship and Richard Guffy.
