SAFE Federal Credit Union recently launched a newly designed website, www.safefed.org. The new website is devoted to providing current and future members the opportunity to learn more about SAFE’s products and services.

The new safefed.org will allow visitors to more robustly locate SAFE branches and ATMs via a Google Maps application contained within the new website. Visitors will also be able to locate SAFE’s contact information and routing number right on the front page.

More extensively, SAFE officials said they are proud to provide “this responsive website” to its members to allow them ease of access no matter which Web platform they may choose to visit safefed.org. Whether it is a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer, the new website will provide an optimal viewing experience.

“2015 is SAFE’s 60th anniversary celebration and we are ecstatic to provide access to our home banking and loan application systems via a clean, sleek new safefed.org website,” SAFE President and CEO Beverly Gagne said. “SAFE members will be able to log in to their home banking system, SAFENET, right from the home page, eliminating one extra click.”

SAFE’s latest website was designed by the credit union’s marketing team with assistance from Cyberwoven, a full-service digital agency, integrating strategy, design, and development located in Columbia.

SAFE organized in 1955 at Shaw Air Force Base. Currently, it is one of the state’s largest credit unions with more than 108,000 members, 17 full-service branches and two in-school facilities, serving eight counties. SAFE holds $910 million in assets and employs 255 people.
