High school football officials needed

The Wateree Football Officials Association and the South Carolina Football Officials Association are looking for anyone interested in becoming high school football officials for the South Carolina High School League Football Officials Association and the Santee Wateree Football Officials Association.

Officials are needed for the 2015 football season.

Training classes will be held each Monday evening at the Sumter County Parks and Recreation Center located at 155 Haynesworth St. in Sumter. All officials are required to attend training classes in order to officiate middle school, junior varsity and varsity football games.

Classes will be held on Mondays evenings and will start at 6:30 p.m. Each training class will cover National Federation rules for high school football, South Carolina Football Official Association mechanics and SCOFA exam preparation.
