The Camden Jaycees’ annual golf tournament will be held Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Camden Country Club.

Entry fee for the four-player, captain’s choice tournament is $300 per team. The entry fee includes cart, greens fee, lunch and beverages throughout the day. Lunch begins at noon followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $100 per business/individual.

Prizes will be awarded for the first place team, closest to the pin and longest drive. Additionally, there will be a “Hole in One Challenge” in which one lucky winner may receive a new golf cart. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle, mulligans and red tee shots may be purchased the day of the tournament.

The Camden Jaycees has been instrumental in improving the lives of citizens of Kershaw County through its annual Christmas Stocking Fund which provides meals and toys to families at Christmas. In addition, the Jaycees awards scholarships to Camp Hope, which provides activities and helps to develop independence for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The golf tournament serves as a major fundraiser for the Jaycees every year.

For information on registering or sponsoring a hole or team, call Michael Wright at 432-4391.
