Kershaw County Christmas Parade marks county’s start of holiday season

Saturday, residents from across the county gathered along Broad Street in Camden to celebrate the 2015 holiday season at the Kershaw County Christmas Parade. 

The parade kicked off with county and town officials including Kershaw County Chairman Julian Burns, Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews, Camden Mayor Tony Scully, Elgin Mayor Melissa Emmons and Bethune Mayor Charles McCoy. 

Also featured in the parade were school bands, local beauty queens, and floats sponsored by churches and businesses.
