Remember when Netflix had a queue? Assuming they took it away because we Americans couldn’t spell or pronounce it, they replaced it with “My List,” but it’ll always be the streaming queue in our hearts.

Below are several suggestions for shows to add to or bump up your streaming to-do list, because they’re delightful and important, and after you binge on them over a weekend or two, you’ll finally be able to join the water cooler talk.

My queue

'iZombie'

Oh, you don’t like quick wit and strange, we-make-our-own rules surrealism? Not a fan of Veronica Mars? Or Rose McIver, the lead who takes the show to new heights?

Unfortunately, based on the “My List” section of this reporter’s Netflix page, that is the case. Hit the comments to convince me to make "iZombie" the top of my must watch list.

'Jane the Virgin'

Gina Rodriguez won a Golden Globe for carrying this heartfelt, quirky Telenovela. All the people who know good TV are watching it. Is that enough prestige for you? But apparently not for me. I haven’t quite gotten around to it … despite my good intentions.

Your queue

'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Nobody is blaming you if you feel a bit of Marvel fatigue. But if you need a break from tights and exo-suits, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be a respite. Intricate espionage plots are interspersed with greatly choreographed fight scenes to keep things interesting. If you’ve seen all the MCU movies, you see how the show fits in. If you haven’t … it stands on its own. The character chemistry grows with each season, making it irresistible.

'Twin Peaks'

Get with the times. If you’ve avoided 20-year-old spoilers, you’re right on track to start the show up before the new season airs. The weird, wild wonderfulness of "Twin Peaks" will have you seeing its influence everywhere. Warning: you will need pie and donuts in order to binge this show with any semblance of sanity.

'Sherlock'

If you haven’t been to 221B Baker Street in awhile, this adaptation will undoubtedly delight. For fans new and old, it is not only brilliantly written, but beautifully shot. Scenes of modern London intermingled with one of the best friendships on television (or your laptop, tablet or phone) … what exactly are you waiting for?

Seasons available: 3

Stream: Netflix

'Parks and Recreation'

The best way to describe this show is to say it’s a stack of waffles with whipped cream and a cherry on top. It’s densely packed with jokes, but the real reason to watch are the sweet relationships between a bunch of weirdoes in Pawnee, Indiana.

The show has concluded its nearly perfect seven-season run, so there’s no rush. Savor each bite.

Seasons available: 7

Stream: Netflix

'Gilmore Girls'

Again, please do yourself a favor before the new episodes air and watch this magnificent piece of television. Ignore the online rhetoric of “which of the boyfriends Rory should end up with” and enjoy watching one of the most relatable, believable trio of women ever written. Emily, Lorelei and Rory (the Gilmore girls) and their quirky friends will make you laugh, make you cry and make you wish you didn’t have to wait even one extra second for the revival.

Seasons available: 7

Stream: Netflix

'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt'

This incredible show is so many layers of funny, you have to watch the first season twice. Also, you’ll download the theme song to play whenever you need a little pep in your step. I’ll say no more.
