CMA takes 10th place in Classic

Receiving top 40 finishes from three runners, the Camden Military Academy cross country team finished in 10th place in the 14-team boys portion of the Pee Dee Classic.

The event was held Saturday at the Freedom Florence athletic complex.

St. James High School of Murrells Inlet won the event with 70 points with Waccamaw next with 106. CMA checked in with 232. Sophomore Tony Beiber led the way for John Heflin’s charges as he finished in 18th place in a time of 19:59. Senior teammate Zack DeLisi was 10 spots behind, in 28th, at 20:26. CMA senior Giovanni Arrindell finished 40th as he crossed the line in 20:46.Chris Gratton was 63rd with a time of 21:43. Dylan Seely was 83rd at 22:53. Marshall Sheron finished in 87th with a time of 23:08 while Bobby Semmler was 93rd with a 24:32 time.
