Freeman and Heather Schmucker, along with their family, cut the ribbon during Schmucker’s Amish General Store’s grand opening at 1040-A Broad St. in downtown Camden. “Schmucker’s celebrates all things Amish, offering Amish made furniture, canned goods, health and beauty products, baskets, quilts, candles and much more,” Freeman Schmucker said. “We hope to bring you the quality value and essence of Amish life, from my family to yours.” Celebrating with the Schmuckers, who also won a Community Pride Award for their improvements to the building, are representatives from the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce, Camden City Council and city staff, Kershaw County Economic Development Office and Kershaw County Council.
