Officials from The Camden Hunt will lead the ride and brief riders on the principles of fox hunting. This function is open to all riders age 6-25 that are interested in finding out more about Pony Club membership.  For more information regarding the trail ride contact Patricia Palm, District Commissioner at pbpalm08@aol.com to RSVP.

Pony Club is for anyone between the ages of 6-25 years old who loves horses.  As a member, you will learn riding skills and horse care; as well as participate in riding sports such as Eventing, Show Jumping and Dressage.  Members also participate in Foxhunting.

Safety and care of the horse are primary goals for all riders.  Through participation in team rallies, members learn the importance of cooperation and friendship.   Along with an emphasis on helping its members learn to ride and care for horses, Pony Club promotes teamwork, a sense of responsibility, safety, good moral judgment and self-confidence.

Parents and riders attending will receive information about pony club membership and our activities.

The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (Pony Club) was founded in 1954 as a nonprofit national youth organization to teach riding and horsemanship through a formal educational program. Many of the nation’s top equestrians, including many of our Olympic team members and many business professionals, government leaders and career military officers, have roots in Pony Club. There are approximately 10,000 members in 600 clubs and riding centers in 43 regions throughout the country www.ponyclub.org
