CMA runs to fourth place finish

Senior Nick Fields led the way for the Camden Military Academy cross country team which finished fourth in an eight-team meet hosted by Orangeburg Prep last Wednesday.

Pelion won the team title with 25 points followed by Wilson Hall (52), Heathwood Hall (67) and CMA (130). 

Fields traveled the 3.1-mile layout in a time of 20:23 which was good for 14th place overall. CMA sophomore Kendal Kreide was 22nd with a final clocking of 22:18. Sebastien Offredo was third for John Heflin’s harriers as his final time was 23:33 was good for 31st place. 

CMA teammates Karson Stewart (23:38) and Mitchell Wiesmore (23:41) came home in 33rd and 34th place, respectively.
