Looking for a little Sunday fun with your four-legged friends?

Dogtoberfest may be the ticket not only to have fun but to help other less fortunate furry friends.

Dogtoberfest is a fundraiser for the Theil-Meyer Animal Shelter and all proceeds generated will go to the shelter. The event will be held at 1001 Park Place, located at the corner of Rutledge and Broad Street on Sunday starting at 5 p.m. and running until about 9 p.m. The event will feature live music by Fair Jam, a cash bar with craft beers and wine, food provided by Catery on Broad and a professional photographer.

Tickets, which include dinner catered by Catery on Broad, are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for adults and $8 in advance and $10 at the door for kids 12 and under. If you want to join the fun but not eat dinner admission is $10.

Admission is free for all dogs.

Tickets are available at the shelter. For more information call 425-6016 or email adopt@kershawcountyhs.org.
