Tickets, along with parking and dining options for Saturday’s running of the Marion duPont Scott International Colonial Cup Steeplechase Races, are still available.

The 47th edition of the Camden fall classic will be run in memory and in honor of the late Carolina Cup Racing Association Chairman and former Camden resident and sportsman Austin Brown.

The seven-jump card of racing is highlighted by the running of the $150,000 Colonial Cup feature chase.

Due to the addition of two races, the first race will meet the starter’s flag at 11:30 p.m. The gates to the Springdale Race Course will swing open to the general public at 9 a.m.

There are several new and exciting options for this year’s races including parking passes now coming with four, rather than two, general admission tickets. Another new wrinkle for this fall is the KW Beverage November Micro-Brew Tent which will be located in the infield and will have college football games being shown on big screen televisions. Another new addition is the economical Springdale Festival Pass, a pay-one-price offering with parking  and    tickets included for all persons in the vehicle.
