NORTH CENTRAL’S BREE LEE was named the Region 4-AA volleyball player of the year by a vote of the seven coaches in the circuit.

North Central reaped the rewards of another memorable volleyball campaign by earning post-season laurels.

The Lady Knights, who finished second to eventual state champion St. Joseph’s in the AA Upper State volleyball tournament, ended the year with a 20-4 record. The team also won the Region 4-AA title with a 12-1 record.

At season’s end, Bree Lee and Logan Coates were selected to the 2A All-State volleyball team.  They were recognized at last month’s North-South All-Star Veollyball Matches contested at Erskine College in Due West.

Lee was also selected as the Region 4-AA Player of the Year while Lady Knights’ head coach Andy Johnson was named Region 4-AA Volleyball Coach of the Year.
