The Leslie M. Stover Middle School Band program reports an outstanding  season. The band began the year with a successful winter concert performance, which featured instrumental soloists and seasonal music. This year, 50 Stover band students won chairs in the All-Region Band, more than any other school in the region. Band members are  looking forward to this year's SCBDA State Concert Band Festival this month and Solo and Ensemble Festival in April. The band will also travel to Orlando, Fla., to compete in the 2011 Festival Disney competition. The band will conclude the season with its annual spring concert in early May.
