Rhonda Horton’s sixth-grade ELA classes at Lugoff-Elgin Middle School have been busy publishing books. They read and analyzed the series of books by Laura Numeroff and rewrote “If You Take A Mouse To School,” illustrating their writings. Students applied reading, writing and technology skills to create their own mini books and become publishers. Each class enjoyed a publishing party in the media center as students shared popcorn and their stories with classmates. Sharing the activities here are Dora Gogos, Unique Patterson, Destiny Gibson,Timaia Singleton and Keele Puckett.
