The Kershaw County Library will host a drop in for the Camden Writers from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Drop by the Camden Branch this Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to mix and mingle with the Camden Writers as they celebrate their new publication, What I Wish I Could Tell You: Stories, Poetry, and Recipes. Members of the group will share some of the selections from the book, as well as answer questions about the group, the book, the writing process and more. What I Wish I Could Tell You is the second anthology of works by members of the Camden Writers group. The first anthology, Serving Up Memory, is also available at the library.

Refreshments -- created from recipes in the book -- will be served, and there will be door prizes given during the evening. Books will be available for purchase. The local chapter of the South Carolina Writers’ Workshop, the Camden Writers Group is a non-profit entity with proceeds from book sales going to seed future publications and educational efforts.
