Carolina Cup spaces are filling up

Reserved parking spaces for the 83rd running of The Mullikin Law Firm Carolina Cup Steeplechase Races are selling quickly with more than a week before the event but there are still spots in all areas to be had for patrons.

The 2017 Camden spring classic will be run over the historic Springdale Race Course on Saturday, April 1.

The day’s first race will meet the starter’s flag at 1:30 p.m. The gates to the Springdale Race Course will open at 9 a.m. 

Here is the updated ticket and reserved parking information for the Carolina Cup races:  

General Admission Tickets: $45; will be available at all gates on race day.

(Note: Children ages 11 and under will be admitted to the races free of charge, if accompanied by an adult ticket-holder.)

General admission parking: $10; available at the gates 

Infield (rows A, B, C and M are sold out; there limited number of spaces left in other rows): $215 per parking space. Includes one parking credential for one parking space in the infield and two general admission tickets.

South, North and West Rail(s): $100 per parking space; includes one parking credential for one parking space on the South or West rail and two general admission tickets

Front Row Paddock: $318 per parking space; includes one parking credential for one parking space on the front row paddock and two general admission tickets

College Park rows B & C (very limited number of spaces left): $830 per space; includes two parking credentials for one space on College Park rows A & B, which measures 40’ wide by 30’ deep, and a 20’ x 20’ tent

(Note: General admission tickets are not included)

College Park rows D & E: $215 per parking space; includes one parking credential and two general admission tickets

Grandstand Box: $500 per box; $100 for an individual seat. Includes premier seating at the finish line and one boxholder parking credential. Individual seats also come with one boxholder parking credential which allows patrons to view the races from the best seats at the race course. Additional parking tags are available for $25 each. 

Columbia Metropolitan Magazine Turf Club: (Sold out)

Carolina Cup Post and Paddock Tent (very few tickets left): $50 per person. Post and Paddock guests will enjoy a full luncheon with choice salads, pasta, roast beef, rolls, fruits, cheese and desserts. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The tent will also have a cash bar and light snacks.

Tickets for the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine Turf Club and Carolina Cup Post and Paddock Tent may only be made by calling the Carolina Cup office at 432-6513 for reservations.
