P-17 in catch-up mode with Hartsville on deck

Kershaw County Post 17 headed into Thursday’s scheduled home game with Sumter smarting from back-to-back losses to Post 15 in  KC’s first two games of the season.

Sumter carried a League III-best 5-0 record into last night’s pairing at American Legion Park. The contest maked the midway point of league play for P-15.

Manning-Santee sits in second place in the circuit with a 4-0 record. Hartsville and Dalzell-Shaw are both 0-2 while Hartsville brings up the rear in the five-team loop with an 0-5 record.

In other league action from this past week, Manning-Santee took the first two games with Hartsville, winning 6-5 on Monday and 15-14 on Tuesday night. Dalzell-Shaw, which fell twice to Manning-Santee, had this week off.

Next week Kershaw County will take on Hartsville in a three-game series with two of the contests being played at American Legion Park in Camden. Here is the slate of games with Post 53:

Thursday, June 15 – Hartsville
