The city of Camden is partnering with Shred 360 to host a free Community Shred Day benefitting the United Way’s Mobile Nutrition Center today from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot to the left of City Hall, 1000 Lyttleton St. This event is free and open to the public.

“We encourage everyone to bring canned goods for the Mobile Nutrition Center along with your shredding material,” city officials said in a press release.

Needed food donations include canned (meats, fruit, pasta, soup, vegetables), miscellaneous grocery (peanut butter and jelly, pasta sauce) and dry goods (pasta, beans, oatmeal, brown rice, ready meals, granola/protein bars).

To allow as many people to participate in the Community Shred Day, Shred 360 limits material to five boxes or bags. Staples, clips, notebooks, binders, file folders, etc. are all acceptable items and do not need to be removed prior to the shredding.
