A group of children ride their patriotically-decorated bicycles in Saturday’s Kids’ Fourth of July Parade on Rutledge Street. Parade sponsors Books on Broad and the city of Camden encouraged children to decorate bikes, scooters, wagons and themselves for the event. Parents also decorated strollers for their younger children. Pre-parade activities started at 10 a.m., with the parade kicking off at 10:30 a.m. The parade followed a route down Rutledge Street to Broad Street, over to Arthur Lane and around to Books on Broad’s rear parking lot where the Camden Fire Department offered free snow cones. (More photos coming Friday!)
