Soccer closes camp season

Here is information on this summer’s final youth sports camp:

Soccer Camp: Players will be grouped by age, size and ability. Daily training sessions will include individual ball handling skills, partner skills, developmental games and much more. This is the perfect way to introduce players to the game of soccer and to challenge advanced players to improve their game. Players must wear shin guards and bring a water bottle and soccer ball. The instructor is Peter Wittig, the varsity boys soccer coach at Blythewood High School.

Dates: August 7 - 11 

Location: Kershaw County West Complex, 519 Whitehead Road, Lugoff

Ages: boys and girls 6 - 14 

Hours: 9 a.m. - Noon 

Cost: $65 (includes T-shirt) 

Pre-registration: Required through the Kershaw County Parks & Recreation Department at 425-6009.
