With the warmer weather comes Finally Friday at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC). Local band KT & Friends will take the stage at the first Finally Friday concert of the spring on March 25 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This will be the fifth year for this popular series.

Sponsored by NBSC, TruVista, Atlas Gym, Chuck Nash and Graham Realty, the outdoor concert series provides a casual family atmosphere in which to enjoy a variety of live musical styles. Admission is free to the public and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Rain location will be the Wood Auditorium.

“Finally Friday is a wonderful community event that showcases local talent and also gives families a chance to enjoy live music in a friendly outdoor setting. The FAC is delighted to start the spring series,” said director Kristin Cobb.

The Finally Friday concert series was started in July of 2006. Modeled after other successful free concert events around the state, this season of Finally Friday is produced by local musician and sound technician Kevin Taylor, a 1991 graduate of Full Sale in Florida and former sound engineer for country music star Vince Gill for almost 10 years.
