Writer has a dilemma

I have a dilemma that hopefully some of you may have the solution to. We have a president that we duly elected by giving him our votes, or in some cases withholding them from Hilary Clinton. Either way, he is the one this nation legally chose to lead us. That being the case, you would expect the people to get behind him and support him in any way possible. After all, if he is successful, are we not the beneficiaries? By the same token, if he is not, are we not losers?

What we are seeing is the mass media (most significant danger in 100 years) fanning the flames of streets full of morons demonstrating for various causes (all anti-Trump when reported by newspapers and television). These demonstrators, for the most part, are people of the opposing political party, some paid to demonstrate, some whose brains have been warped by liberal leftist educators and some that are just trouble makers trying to be seen on television.

We are also seeing institutions of higher learning, municipalities and in some cases school boards, making dumb decisions regarding history, statues, religion, etc. All this is the result of pressure from the handful of moronic troublemakers making public spectacles of themselves and magnified by the lack of guts in government and municipalities to exercise control.

Now here is my dilemma. It is in opposition to my civility to get out in the streets, carry signs, destroy property, and engage in fist fights with these people. Yet I feel as strongly opposed to what they are doing as they feel in support of. What are the alternatives for myself and others with similar feelings?

Am I left to succumb, or become a moron and confront them in the streets in order to express my desire for peace, law and order and support for my country? I fear my silence will lead to my being construed as being in agreement with them.
