Millage, grants before KCC

Kershaw County Council will give second reading to an ordinance setting the county millage rate for Fiscal Year 2017 during its meeting tonight in the county government center.

Council will also look at funding for the Kershaw County Housing Authority as well as hear a report regarding a traffic grant for the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office.

Council will also consider passage of a proclamation recognizing International Alpha Delta Kappa Month. Alpha Delta Kappa, which was founded in 1947, is an honorary organization for women educators. 

Kershaw County Council meets at 5:30 p.m. in the County Government Center, 515 Walnut Street, Camden. Meetings are open to the public.
