Judy Watts: New novel available

Judy Watts new novel, Finding Jordan, is now available on Amazon in both print and eBook editions. 

“This book has been in progress for several years, so its publication is personally gratifying and exciting. And now I’m enjoying the fun part … meeting readers as they get to know Jordan Sinclair and the other characters,” Watts said.

She has just returned from a West Coast book signing and will be at Books on Broad from 4-6 p.m. on Friday to meet with readers, offer a brief reading and to sign books.

Finding Jordan follows Jordan Sinclair as he searches the world for his fiancé who most believe died in a plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean. Once home in Charleston, he encounters a mysterious artist and a resolution he never could have anticipated. Finding Jordan, set primarily against the lush backdrop of Charleston, is a mystery fueled by the power of hope and love.

Veteran journalist Judy S. Watts has worked at The State newspaper, served as features editor and columnist at The Post and Courier and as executive editor of The Journal Scene, The Gazette and The Berkeley Independent community newspapers of Evening Post Industries. She is currently the associate editor of NOLO Magazine serving the North Lowcountry of Charleston.

Watts’ award-winning column “The Watts Line” has been a part of the Lowcountry since 1989 and lives on in a series of collections: Living with Wieners and Guys, too; Living with Manchildren; and Living with The Hubster. Her first novel, The Diary, was published in 2015. Finding Jordan, was released August 21.

She and her husband live in North Charleston and enjoy spending time on their sailboat in Charleston harbor and at the family cabin on Lake Wateree near Camden.
