North Central High School (NCHS) was the recipient of a $5,000 gift from the International Paper Foundation. The money is being used to purchase reading materials for classrooms and the NCHC Media Center in order to enhance literacy across the curriculum initiative. Principal Worth Thomasson (right) said the International Paper Foundation made it possible for the school to benefit its students by encouraging them to read on a daily basis. Thomasson accepted the check on behalf of the school from International Paper representative Tim Boone (left).
