Erynn Newman

Erynn Newman, award-winning author of First Light and Out of Darkness, released this spring, will be returning to her roots in Camden for a meet and greet at Books on Broad from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Out of Darkness, an inspirational romantic suspense novel, is the story of Elisabeth Marek, a bride and a widow on the same day -- all of her prayers are about to be answered if the CIA, international arms dealers, and her best friend don’t stand in the way. First Light is a prequel novelette that tells the story of how Elisabeth and Drew met and fell in love. Both are available on Amazon.

Erynn graduated as salutatorian from Camden High School in 2000 and married Leo Newman in 2006. Both attended North Greenville University. They now live in Travelers Rest where Leo is a therapist, and Erynn is a freelance editor, author, and mom to their 4-year-old son, Hudson.
