FAC announces ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ auditions

The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County and the Camden Community Theatre announce auditions for the upcoming Christmas production, It’s A Wonderful Life. Auditions will be held this Sunday and Monday, Oct. 15 and 16, at 6 p.m. in the Music Studio of the Daniels Education Building at the FAC.

The production is scheduled to run Thursday, Dec. 7 through Sunday, Dec. 10 in the Wood Auditorium. Roles are available for men and women of all ages. Youth roles are available for four males and four females, ages 9 to 15; and one male and one female age 6 to 8. No special preparation is required.

“Frank Capra’s Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, comes to life on the Fine Arts Center Stage in an adaptation by Doug Rand,” Director Julie Martin McCallum said. “This production features a large cast with great cameo opportunities.”

The FAC is funded, in part, by the S.C. Arts Commission, the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional funding provided by the city of Camden, Kershaw County, Duke Energy and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina along with donations from businesses and individuals.
