Man dies of injuries from Nov. 27 wreck

A man who sustained injuries in a Nov. 27 wreck in Camden has died of his injuries.

According to Kershaw County Coroner David West, Roosevelt Thomas Jr., 66, passed away Friday from his injuries.

West said the collision took place at 3:44 p.m. Nov. 27 at the intersection of Dicey Ford Road and Lyttleton Street. Thomas was transported to Palmetto Health Hospital in Richland County.

Camden Police Chief Joe Floyd confirmed the Camden Police Department is investigating the two-car collision with the assistance of the S.C. Highway Patrol’s Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation Team.
