The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects who burglarized Cellular Connections on U.S. 1 South in Lugoff early Tuesday morning after breaking through the front door. The suspects reportedly then broke into display cases and stole several cell phones and accessories.

KCSO Capt. Steve Knafelc said in an email media advisory that the suspects used a plastic tote to carry the stolen items out of the store.

“Someone possibly saw these subjects around the business this morning,” Knafelc said. “If so, please call the sheriff’s office.”

In his email, Knafelc included a photograph of a white 2007 Buick Rendezvous similar to the one the suspects used to flee the scene. He emphasized that the SUV in the photograph is not the actual getaway vehicle.

Knafelc said surveillance video shows the burglary took place around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday, staying at the scene for a total of 8 minutes, during only 3 of which they managed to enter the store, steal merchandise and leave.

Anyone with information on the vehicle, burglars or the break-in at Cellular Connections should call the KCSO at (803) 425-1512.
