Feral hog workshop February 6

The Kershaw County Conservation District will host a special workshop on managing feral hogs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Kershaw County School District Administrative Offices, 2029 W. DeKalb St., Camden.

Conducted by Dr. Noel Myer, the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Service, and the S.C. Dept. of Natural Resources, the workshop will include classroom presentations and outdoor trapping demonstrations.

The workshop is $20 per person and will include a catered lunch. Checks can be made payable to the Kershaw Conservation District.
