6:30-7:30 PM

Yoga for Everybody: Led by Scott Freiberg, this class offers a welcoming environment to practice a gentle form of Hatha yoga and focus on movement, breath, mindfulness and the place they meet. This class is perfect for the beginner or anyone seeking a gentler practice. Please bring a mat or towel and wear clothes that are comfortable and allow a range of movement.

 A waiver is required before your first class.  No yoga Dec. 26

Class limited to first five individuals, however, additional students may sit in on the class without hands-on use of the computer.

Caregiver Support Group: Some of us are accompanying our loved ones on the journey of dementia, Alzheimer’s, traumatic injury and other physical and cognitive impairments.  This introduces to our lives ambiguous loss (they are here but they aren’t) and ongoing challenges to our daily living routines.  A group of us gather monthly to discuss concerns and ideas for supporting our loved ones and ourselves while finding emotional respite by sharing with those who understand. #heartchallenge: February is American Heart Month, which helps bring awareness to heart disease and ways to prevent it. A healthy diet and lifestyle are your best weapons to fight diseases.  Come and learn the primary controllable and uncontrollable factors that put one at greater risk for developing heart disease as well as how nutrition and a healthy lifestyle can impact cardiovascular health. Faith Isreal, MS Clemson Extension Food Safety & Nutrition Agent will lead this presentation and demonstrate how to make “heart healthy recipes” for individuals of all walks of life.
