Dogs advance; NC game moved to RNE

Camden opened the AAA Upper State boys basketball tournament with an 82-44 win over Carolina Academy on Tuesday night inside the Dog Pound.

Ron McKie's Region 4-AAA champions will host Clinton, a 70-47 winner over Seneca, in tonight's second round pairing on the Michael G. Culp Court. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.

Knights open in Columbia: North Central takes on the state's top-ranked AA entry, Gray Collegiate Academy, in Wednesday's opening round of the AA boys state tournament. 

That game will be played at Richland Northeast High School and has a 7 p.m. start.
