Scholarships are available for Kershaw County students who will enter Tri-County Technical College’s Bridge to Clemson program this fall.

Students who reside in the Camden, Lugoff and Elgin areas of Kershaw County, as well as students from Chester and Fairfield counties, are eligible to apply for the S. Lewis and Lucia B. Bell Memorial Scholarship.

Tri-County Technical College, in Pendleton, is home to the nationally-known Bridge to Clemson program, a unique freshman-year program that blends the traditional academic experience at Tri-County with the social and cultural experiences of being a Clemson University student.

Bridge students must earn 30 transferrable credit hours at Tri-County during their two semesters and transfer to Clemson with a 2.5 GPA.

For more information or to apply, contact Debbie Nelms at the Tri-County Technical College Foundation at (864) 646-1809. Applications will be accepted Feb. 26 through April 1. Students should have completed all of the registration requirements for Bridge to Clemson and be enrolled at Tri-County before applying.
