The Camden Police Department (CPD) is seeking information leading to the arrest of a Camden man officers say shot a 36-year-old Cassatt man in the Huddle House parking lot on West DeKalb Street just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a CPD report, officers learned that a red Chevy convertible and a gray vehicle were involved in the shooting and that the vehicles had left the Huddle House down West DeKalb Street heading toward Walmart.

One officer arrived at the Huddle House parking lot and reported finding broken glass. Officers later located five spent shell casings at the scene.

Other officers went to O’Reilly’s auto shop at West DeKalb Street and Chestnut Ferry Ext. where the victim was sitting in his car suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Another victim, an unhurt 23-year-old Camden man, was in the vehicle with him.

CPD Capt. Lee Boan said the department would like the public’s assistant in searching for Bobby Bernard Stuckey Jr., 38, of Smyrl Circle, Camden.

“Stuckey was seen on video surveillance firing multiple gunshots into the vehicle that was occupied by two victims,” Boan said. “One of the victims sustained a gunshot wound to the lower back during the incident. Stuckey drove away in what appeared to have been a gray in color BMW.”

Anyone with information about Stuckey’s whereabouts should call the CPD at (803) 425-6025.
