The Family Resource Center, a rape crisis and child advocacy organization, needs caring and committed volunteers to assist with providing victim services. FRC serves abused and neglected children as well as adult survivors of sexual violence in Kershaw and Lee Counties. FRC needs individuals who are compassionate and want to help provide support for individuals and families during crisis.

Volunteer victim advocates are FRC frontline volunteers. They respond to emergency hotline and hospital calls after regular business hours. Volunteer victim advocates must complete a 25-hour training. There  are other opportunities to assist with agency programs, office work, community events, and fundraising are also available.

The next volunteer training is scheduled for March 19, March 23 and March 26.
