Finally Friday jam to kick off Cup weekend

The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will kick off the Carolina Cup weekend again this year with its annual Finally Friday Free Concert Series Music Jam -- A Carolina Cup Weekend Kick Off on the Town Green. The event is scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, so please leave coolers at home. No glass bottles are allowed. Rain location is the Jim and Pat Watts Performing Arts Wing on the campus of the FAC.

The Town Green is located at 1015 Market Street in Camden. Local musicians will rock the night away with what has become an annual event as some of the town’s greatest musicians gather for a giant jam session. This year’s lineup includes more than 25 local musicians. Scheduled to appear are Danny Massalon, Buddy Harre, Mike Eck, Melissa Delatorre, Rusty Davis, Paul Russo, David Middleton, Pat Severs, Michael Severs, Jim Hayes, Jimmy Tatum, Tim Bordner, Scott Jordan, Michael Montgomery, Bobby Joseph, Paul Hayes, Renne Jordan, Grace Montgomery, Roddy Blackwell, Joe Fohner, Trey McCorkle, Larry Stevenson, Robert Charles, Johnny Glenn, Louisa DeLoach, Danny “Puppy Dog” Robinson, David Franklin, Kevin “KT” Taylor, Brian Humphries, Al Humphries, Butch Davis, and more!

The FAC’s Finally Friday Series, normally held on the Shull Pavilion at the FAC, has taken to the Town Green for its March event to feed into the excitement of the Carolina Cup weekend in Camden. The next Finally Friday Free Concert will be held on April 27 at the Center and will feature local favorite Landslide.
