He was born in Peach Orchard, AR, to E.W. and Ruth Tucker. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Masters in Agriculture.

Don worked for the FDA, was a master welder, and was a bull rider.in a rodeo circuit. He was an avid skydiver and gave it all up to become a master ferrier. He was well-loved and respected by many people in this community.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; three daughters, Sara Bradstream of W. Columbia and spouse, Levi, Dana Aland of Little Elm, TX, and spouse, Joel, Jeanne Nettle O’Neal of Lugoff; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many beloved family members and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to all of Don and Brenda’s family and friends who showed their love, support and came to reminisce with him during his convalescence.

Thank you to Kershaw Hospice for all the love and kindness. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Kershaw Hospice to continue helping others.

Don unselfishly donated his body to the University of  South Carolina Medical School in hopes of continuing helping others after his passing.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later date.
