Camden Middle sweeps WRAC basketball championships

Both the Camden Middle School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams won the 2017-18 Wateree   Region Athletic Conference Championship.

The War Eagles finished with a 10-0 conference mark and went 11-2 overall under second-year head coach Quiyam Fleming, who came to CMS after having been the junior varsity girls’ coach at Camden High. Led by Anthony Lyles’ 16 points per game, the War Eagles won both the WRAC regular season and tournament championship. 

Coached by Rosalyn Florence, the Lady War Eagles finished with a 8-3 overall record and a 5-3 conference record en route to winning the WRAC championship.
