The Camden Historic Landmarks Commission (CHLC) will present its annual preservation awards during Camden City Council’s meeting tonight.

On a related note, council will consider proclaiming the month of May as National Historic Preservation Month in Camden. It will also consider first reading of an ordinance amending Section 158 of the city’s code of ordinances regarding the CHLC itself.

Also on tonight’s agenda, council will consider proclaiming May 13-19 as National Nursing Home Week; second and final reading of an ordinance adopting the city’s Fiscal Year 2019 budget; and consider approving a Leader’s Legacy bench recognition for Frank D. Goodale.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. on the second floor of Camden City Hall, 1000 Lyttleton St., and is open to the public.
