Laffin locked down the first base job for the Demons in 2018 and rewarded Stokes and company by leading the team with a .403 batting average with a team-best .514 slugging percentage. His .500 on-base mark tied for the team lead.

Laffin’s six doubles were second-most for L-E while his 22 singles were second on the team with his 29 base hits tying him for third best. He was third on the team with 17 runs batted in and fifth in runs scored with 17.

Holley is coming off a senior campaign at North Central in which he led the Knights with a .441 batting average. His 22 base hits led the team while he also had three doubles and a triple while driving in 10 runs and scoring 16. He also had six stolen bases in seven attempts.
