Conquering the Carolinas

FEW 360, a youth sports organization started by Brian Chivers, had its girls’ 12u AAU/travel basketball team, which is made up of Kershaw County girls 12 years of age and younger, win the NTBA North Carolina State Championship last weekend. It was the  team’s third tourney title in five weeks. After Few 360 defeated Next Level (SC), 42-16, the local entry defeated the Charlotte Dream Elite, 41-15, in the semifinals before taking down Asheville-based Team Carolina, 41-28, to win the championship. The team, which will play in one or two more tournaments before closing their season, is now 16-2. Members of the championship team include, bottom row, from left, Deanna Jeffcoat, Braylon Mungo, Zy’Asia Carter, Shanaryah Wright and Lindsey Mills.
