Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) narcotics officers seized quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine and meth along with weapons after executing search warrants on two locations in Cassatt and one in Lugoff on Tuesday.

According to a KCSO press release, investigators executed the warrants during the early morning hours Tuesday. Along with the drugs, they seized seven firearms.

Deputies arrested Samuel Jermaine Wilson, 33, of Evening View Lane, Cassatt, and charged him with a third offense of trafficking between 28 and 100 grams of crack cocaine, a third offense of possession with intent to distribute (PWID) methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a pistol with an obliterated serial number.

Also in Cassatt, deputies arrested Jermaine Darnell Williams, 37, of Dogwood Lane, Cassatt, and charged him with PWID marijuana and PWID methamphetamine.

Deputies also arrested Micque Burnell Wood, 42, of Opal Lane, Lugoff, and charged him with trafficking crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputies transported all three men to the Kershaw County Detention Center where they remain pending a bond hearing. The KCSO said investigators are working with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in an effort to have the firearms charges prosecuted federally.

According to the KCSO, Wilson has previously been arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon, multiple narcotics violations, assault on a police officer while resisting arrest, pointing and presenting a firearm, driving under suspension, failure to stop for a blue light, child endangerment, criminal sexual conduct, criminal conspiracy, strong armed robbery and criminal domestic violence.

Williams, the KCSO said, has previously been arrested for multiple drug distributions, several parole revocations and breach of peace.

The KCSO said Wood has previously been arrested for DUI, breach of peace, malicious injury to property, assault and battery, criminal domestic violence high and aggravated, failure to stop for a blue light, resisting arrest, pointing and presenting a firearm, false information, leaving scene of accident with personal injury and petty larceny.
